RIAA Files Reply Papers in Lava v. Amurao

In Lava v. Amurao, a day after the Electronic Frontier Foundation filed an amicus curiae brief in opposition to the RIAA's motion to dismiss counterclaims, the RIAA has filed reply papers in support of the motion:

The RIAA seems big on claiming that the Defendant's counter-claims are only mirrors of the original suits, and are therefore to be dismissed under standard judicial procedures.

All the judges hearing this plea really need to be introduced to the argument that dismissing such counter-claims denies the Defendant his day in court, his chance to clear his name, and his chance to be compensated under the law for his legal expenses when dealing with Plaintiff's who dismiss without prejudice every time their case is actually about to see the insides of a court room.
